Empathy in Action Services brings together experienced, compassionate workers who understand that good support should feel respectful, dependable and personal to the individual.
Everyone has their own routines, preferences and ideas about what good support looks like. We take the time to understand how you want to be supported, what is important to you and where you would like assistance. This allows your care to be shaped around you, rather than following the same approach for everyone.
Whether support takes place at home, at an appointment or out in the community, you can expect to be treated with respect, compassion and consideration.
The person providing your support matters.
Our carers are selected for the knowledge, skills and years of practical experience they bring to their areas of expertise. Just as importantly, we look for people who demonstrate compassion, dedication and genuine commitment to the people they support.
This helps us provide care that is capable, respectful and dependable, while keeping your individual needs at the centre.
Our mission is to provide clear, defined, exceptional services to cater for all stake holders involved without fear of discrimination.
Our vision is to create an inclusive community where people with disabilities have equal opportunities, genuine choices and control, and are empowered to live independent and meaningful lives.
The values of Empathy in Action Services influence how we communicate, make decisions and approach every interaction.
We listen to your preferences, choices and point of view, and treat you with dignity.
We are honest, transparent and accountable in the way we work.
We provide a high standard of care and look for opportunities to continually improve.
We take ownership of our actions and follow through on our commitments.
We listen to feedback and want you to feel confident speaking up about your care.
We look for practical, thoughtful ways to improve your support and make everyday life easier.
We value teamwork and open communication to achieve better outcomes together.
Our team is expected to act professionally, carry out their responsibilities with care and seek assistance when needed. We maintain clear standards of behaviour, with zero tolerance for harassment or bullying, and expect everyone to treat others with respect and dignity. We also prioritise a safe environment, responsible decision-making, leadership and teamwork.
Tell us what you are looking for, where you need support and what is most important to you. We can answer your questions and talk through the next steps.
